Once upon a time, there was no internet that could embarrass celebrities, like there is now. When someone did something stupid, it was rarely caught on film. Instead, rumors would fly in the tabloid pages, but no one would ever have visual proof. Today, celebrities must watch their backs. For most A list celebrities, there is hardly ever a time when a camera is not pointed at their face. Because of this, celebrities now have to be extra careful.
Usually celebrities are not particular about who they are pictured with, but what insane things that they are doing, either in public or on a secluded beach during a vacation. If a celebrity picks their nose today, it will be on the cover of the tabloids tomorrow. This is the reason that we get such enjoyment out of seeing funny celebrity photos. And with the internet, everyone gets to see them at lightening speed.
Some of the funniest celebrity pictures usually come under the most controversy, because there’s usually a lawsuit from the celebrity for some reason or another. But once the picture is published, it is out there for the world to see, and no court settlement can bring back their dignity.
