Changes at Reading Festival
Reading Festival Tickets are going to be available from March 30, 2009 for Reading Festival 2009 . The Reading Festival Site has all the information about the festival and tickets. This year’s ticketing process is different from previous years. Here are some of the changes:
1. Only two tickets will be sold per person. This has been done to stop people from buying extra tickets and reselling them at higher rates closer to the festival dates.
2. No tickets will be sold on the date of the festival, or at the site. So if you want to attend you must buy your ticket in advance.
3. To get a ticket you must first purchase a ticket voucher. This guarantees that you will get a ticket when they are released on August 1st. Vouchers will be sold on March 30 at select stores. To get a voucher you must show ID and then to exchange this for a ticket later you must show the same ID again.
All these changes have been made to stop people from buying tickets and selling them off to other people to make a profit. Hopefully, this way all the fans will be able to attend the festival without having to buy tickets at exorbitant prices.
